Konrad has been with Keats McFarland & Wilson since 2002. His practice includes all areas of intellectual property promotion, litigation and enforcement including civil litigation in federal and state court and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and negotiating and drafting entertainment contracts and licensing agreements for world famous characters, people, and products. Konrad has obtained temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunction orders; obtained and conducted ex-parte seizures of counterfeit goods in California and South Dakota; drafted successful appeals to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; successfully opposed pending trademark applications and obtained cancellation of registered trademarks; drafted numerous successful office action responses to the United States Patent and Trademark Office; has been granted and successfully opposed motions to compel discovery responses; and obtained sanctions against opposing parties and their counsel for discovery abuse.
Prior to joining Keats McFarland Wilson, Konrad worked in the entertainment department of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan; the legal and business affairs department of Fox Family Worldwide television; and was a teaching assistant for the prestigious Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program at the University of Southern California. In 2002, Konrad served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Trade in the Americas at Southwestern University School of Law and was included in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
